Installation of channel drainage
Step 1: Measure
When installing the polymer channel, take the height of the Alu Side-Line into account. The end-piece must be installed 3mm below the surface to ensure proper drainage.
Step 2: Place
The Alu Side-Line can be placed on the installed polymer channel or pre-assembled to the channel where required. The pre-assembled ‘outliner’ provided on each top unit provides automatic alignment which saves time for the contractor.
Step 3: Inspection cover
Install an inspection cover where necessary. We recommend installing an inspection cover at each end as well as over every discharge outlet to simplify cleaning.
Step 4: Fill
Wall up the polymer channel sufficiently and finish the tiles against the top unit. After installation, the Side Line or Side Drain is practically invisible, with no loss of functionality.
